Health & Safety Hub

ILTACON is a COVID-19 vaccination required event for all attendees, exhibitors and ILTA staff.

This webpage will be updated with information about plans for ILTACON health and safety protocols for attendees, exhibitors and staff on-site. If you cannot or choose not to comply with the onsite Health and Safety requirements, we encourage you to explore our ILTACON Digital experience.

We will continue to assess evolving public health guidance regarding large gathering settings and will provide updates and additional guidance as we refine our planning. ILTA continues to encourage all attendees, exhibitors, and staff to follow all applicable regulations and make informed choices about travel, onsite, and external engagement. Find additional info on our FAQ page.

ILTA has adopted a “Vaccination Required” approach for all attendees, exhibitors and staff at ILTACON. In practice, this means all attendees, exhibitors and ILTA staff will have to provide proof of their COVID-19 “full vaccination” in order to gain access to the session rooms and exhibit hall.

For the purposes of right of entry to ILTACON, a person is considered fully vaccinated:

  • 2 weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose series, such as the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines, or

  • 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine This guidance applies to COVID-19 vaccines authorized for emergency use by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (i.e., Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, and Johnson and Johnson (J&J)/Janssen COVID-19 vaccines), and COVID-19 vaccines authorized for emergency use by the World Health Organization (i.e., AstraZeneca/Oxford, Covishield, Sinopharm, and Sinovac), on or before July 26, 2021. The full list of vaccines with final WHO EUL/PQ evaluation status is available here.

If an attendee, exhibitor or ILTA staff member does not meet these requirements, they are NOT considered fully vaccinated and will not be permitted to enter.

Digital images of proof of vaccination should be e-mailed to before August 10th. If you do not feel comfortable uploading your digital proof of vaccination, you may bring your proof of vaccination and show it to staff for verification prior to registration/check-in. All ILTACON participants must provide proof of full vaccination prior to receiving access to the conference.

Additionally, ILTA recommends all attendees, exhibitors and staff comply with travel guidelines issued by the CDC when traveling to Las Vegas, Nevada.
Masks will be required during ILTACON.

On July 27, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued updated guidance advising that the vast majority of COVID-19 transmissions take place between unvaccinated individuals, and confirming vaccines continue to do an exceptional job of combating the spread of the virus. Based on updated information, in areas with substantial and high transmission, the CDC now recommends fully vaccinated people wear masks in public, indoor settings to help prevent the spread of the Delta variant and help protect others. Further, the CDC recommends community leaders encourage vaccination and universal masking to prevent further outbreaks in areas of substantial and high transmission.

Additionally, on July 27, the Governor of Nevada issued Emergency Directives 045 and 047 issuing a mask mandate (full text can be found via the links here). On the same day, the Nevada Gaming Control Board adopted guidance stating “everyone, regardless of vaccination status, should wear a mask in public indoor settings in areas of substantial or high transmission.” Clark County is specifically identified as an area subject to this new guidance.

In alignment with applicable guidance from the CDC, the Governor of Nevada, the Southern Nevada Health District guidance, the Clark County Commissioners, and the Nevada Gaming Control Board, masks will be required for ILTACON attendees.
